Favicons are the small icons for your website that are typically displayed in your web browser. All Organic Themes contain a leaf favicon, or in the case of the Structure Theme, an “ST” icon. Featured Videos allow you to display a video in various locations throughout the theme such as the home page, featured slider or a category page. Video’s are added within the post editor by pasting the video embed code from a source such as Vimeo or YouTube in to the Featured Video field, located beneath the content editor.

How To: Install A WordPress Theme

Installing an Organic Theme is a straightforward process. Follow the instructions in our tutorial to properly upload and install your WordPress theme. It should be noted that themes purchased directly from us are created for individual installations of the WordPress platform from wordpress.org, and are not compatible with the wordpress.com blog community.

Reference: Adding Widgets

WordPress offers a variety of default widgets such as Search, Recent Posts, Links, Calendar, etc. These widgets can be added to your Organic Themes sidebar and other “widgetized” sections of your theme. Various plugins can be installed within WordPress to provide additional widgets. Within the WordPress administration navigate to the Appearance > Widgets section. Drag and drop your desired widgets in to the sidebar or widgetized section of your choosing.
