Hi Rob,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, and we will resolve these deprecation issues in the next theme update.

However, It appears you are running the absolute latest version of PHP (8.2.11), and WordPress itself is not fully compatible with PHP 8.2 yet. As a result, I would recommend reducing your PHP version to 8.1 through your hosting provider. Reducing the PHP version should resolve any issues you may be experiencing.

Thanks for reaching out! We recently pushed a theme update for STAX (version 1.4.7). Can you please update to the latest theme version, and let us know if the issue persists?

Also, you may need to clear your caches after updating the theme before the changes take effect.

Who is your hosting provider? What hosting plan are you using?

If the setup wizard is failing, this is most likely a resources issue with your server. In which case, you may need to have your host allocate more memory resources to your server while you are performing the setup.

Hi Berit,

Ah, I see what you mean. However, that’s the expected behavior of a full-width Cover Block on the Sidebar page template. If you want the Cover Block to extend the full browser width, you will need to either:

1. Use the default page template. You will lose the sidebar. However, you could make your own sidebar on the default page template using the Columns Block.

2. Change the Sidebar page template within the Site Editor under Appearance > Editor. You will then need to navigate to the Sidebar page template within the editor, and you can then add a full width Cover Block above the sidebar and page content by modifying the template.
