David MorganKeymasterHi Eliza,
What version of STAX do you have installed? Also, what version of the Organic Blocks plugin do you have installed? We recently updated the demo content for STAX, resolving those block recovery messages. Additionally, have you tried recovering the blocks in this instance? WordPress has gotten better at block recovery in recent updates.
Thanks!
David MorganKeymasterHey Stefan,
Great! Unfortunately, I think this is just an oversight of WordPress at this time. The platform is hiding the admin link to the Customizer if a block theme is enabled. Theoretically, blocks themes are supposed to remove the need for the Customizer. However, I don’t believe favicons have been considered yet.
Until this is resolved, you may just have to access the Customizer using the provided link when you have a block theme activated.
Thanks!

David MorganKeymasterHi Erich,
No worries. What version of the STAX theme do you have installed? Also, what version of the Organic Blocks plugin do you have installed?
I feel like this issue may have been addressed with an Organic Blocks update. However, you should be able to fix the issue in mobile by adding the following style:
@media screen and (max-width: 768px) { .obb-hero { background-attachment: scroll !important; } }
I hope this helps.
Thanks!
David MorganKeymasterHey Jeffrey,
Ah, that makes sense. Since your client imported the demo content before the links were updated, they’ll need to remove the default custom images for those banners within the editor. This can be done following these instructions:
1. Navigate to Appearance > Editor > Template Parts > Banner Default.
2. Click on the Hero Block to reveal the block options.
3. Click the “Remove Image” button for the Custom Image option.
4. Repeat this process for the “Banner Post” template part.Once removed, the site should then load quickly on the first click within mobile browsers.
Let us know if this works.
Thanks!

David MorganKeymasterHi Stefan,
Interesting. You may need to provide your WordPress login for us to take a closer look.
It’s possible there are some plugins that were installed by your hosting provider that are preventing the Customizer from displaying in the admin.
Also, you could try the following link to see if you can access the Customizer directly, https://la-deutsche-vita.shop/wp-admin/customize.php
If that doesn’t work, can you provide you login info in a private reply?
Thanks!
