Stax theme not updating

Hello,

The Stax theme is not updating to version 1.6. I’ve enabled auto updates but it failed. I’ve tried disabling autoupdate but it doesn’t give me the clickable link ‘update now’ it only say ‘ a new version is available’

The license is still active.
What should I do?

Hi Manu,

Do you have any security plugins active on your site? Also, there may be a firewall from your hosting provider blocking updates from third party theme and plugin vendors.

Try deactivating any security plugins. If that doesn’t work, you may need to manually update the theme following the FTP option in this link, https://organicthemes.com/tutorial/install-a-wordpress-theme/
