    Hi there,

Please could you tell me how I can keep the top menu with the white background (so it is not opaque), but without the title of the page appearing too?

    Thanks
    Lloyd

    Hi Lloyd,

    Thanks for reaching out!

You should be able to remove the Site Title block by navigating to Appearance > Editor > Patterns > Header. Once you’re able to edit the header, you can simply click on the title and delete it.

As for the header background, you should also be able to set this in the block options in the editor. However, I may need some more context here. Can you provide a link to your site, and some screenshots illustrating the issue?

    Thanks!

    Hi David

Sorry for the late reply. I have somehow added the header and footer part to my editing page (see attached), please could you tell me how to remove this?

    Thanks

    Hi Lloyd,

It’s difficult to say without logging into your site. But based on your screenshot it seems you have accidentally added a header within a header.

In the top left of the editor, just to the right of the blue “+” button, you will notice an icon with 3 vertical lines. This icon is for your “List View”. I would recommend toggling the list view option, and then looking within the list view on the left to see if you have any duplicate blocks nested in other blocks.

The list view provides a nice hierarchy for viewing and editing blocks, and it’s especially helpful in cases like this.

Let us know if this works.

    Thanks!
