STAX organic blocks bundle not updating

I have the organic blocks bundle installed, v2.03. I am trying to update to the latest version, v2.1.1. however, I am getting an error: Update failed: Update package.

Auto update are enabled, but the plugin will not automatically update. I get the error when I click to manually download and install the update. Additionally, I have tried to download and install the plugin directly from organic themes.com, but that also fails.

How do I fix this issue?

Hi Erich,

Thanks for reaching out! Do you have any firewalls or security plugins active?

You may need to disable any security plugins to automatically update the block plugin. If that doesn’t work, I recommend downloading the latest plugin version from your account downloads, and manually replacing them plugin.

Hi David,

No firewalls or security plugins. Oddly, I was able to fix the issue by logging out of wordpress and then when I logged back in then the update worked flawlessly.
