Image proportions in portfolio block et post block

i want to use block portfolio and block post. But even though my images are the same height, I can’t get a homogeneous visualization. There are offsets (see attachments).
– what proportions should I give the images so that in post blocks or portfolios, the images are not offset in height. Do all images have to be the same width and height?
I have some examples attached
it’s weird, usually in themes or templates there’s always a feature that lets you adjust the image content between them. But not on organics blocks

– how to translate the button text “read more” in block post

Is there a solution ?
