I am very excited about the Stax theme here: https://new.mmbeachrentals.com/ but I’m confused on how to configure it. I want to set a sitewide header with logo and I can’t see where to do it or any documentation
April 14, 2022 at 5:57 am #439631creativelizaParticipantwell I wanted to try out the theme but I’ll have to switch to another one because i’ve been waiting 2 days with no answer and I can’t find any documentation. too bad
April 14, 2022 at 1:25 pm #439650David MorganKeymasterHi Eliza,
I apologize for the delay, and we’re happy to hear you’re excited about trying STAX!
We’re finalizing the documentation. But in the meantime, all aspects of the header and design can be edited in the Full Site Editor:
Navigate to Appearance > Editor within the WordPress admin. Once you’re in the Full Site Editor, simply click on the Header Block (You may have to click twice), and the options for changing the logo, menus, layout and style will be located in the block options on the right. I attached a screenshot for reference.
Within the Full Site Editor, you can change the header and footer on multiple page templates.
Let us know if there is anything else we can do.
Thanks!

Template part has been deleted or is unavailable: footer-links

Can you provide your login in a private reply so we can take a closer look?
Thanks!
May 4, 2022 at 7:54 am #440816theDCCParticipantI have this exact same issue 🙁
Installed a fresh copy of Stax on an empty site and I just get ‘Template part has been deleted or is unavailable’ in the header and footer of every page.
Can’t seem to see any way to fix it? The header shows when I navigate to Editor> Template Parts, but there doesn’t seem to be any way to use that working version?
Thanks,
Simon

Thanks for reaching out! We definitely want to get to the bottom of this issue.
Can you provide your WP login information in a private reply?
Also, can you double check to make sure the Organic Blocks plugin is activated, and the license has been applied under the “Organic Blocks” settings in the admin menu?
Thanks!
May 7, 2022 at 9:26 am #440971theDCCParticipantHi David,
No,sorry. I couldn’t wait as the project was already behind schedule, so I had to bin Stax and go with something else unfortunately.
I can say for sure that the Organic Blocks plugin was installed, activated and licensed though.
I will try it again on my next project and let you know if I hit the same problem.
Thanks.

We’re sorry to hear that STAX didn’t work out for your project this time around. We would have liked to resolve the issue for you, but understand that time was a concern with the project. Please don’t hesitate to reach out in the future if we can help in any way. Best of luck with your project!
Kind Regards,
Emily
May 12, 2022 at 8:50 am #441269JeffreyParticipantI’m very confused. After installing the Stax theme into a brand new WordPress install AND installing the blocks plugin, I went to look at how the default site looks and it shows your Stax Theme all in one page, but not the page content I created. But I do NOT see any of the block’s content in any of the pages or posts. When I created a new page and added the hero block, I went to look at the page in preview, but it showed your Stax page instead and added the Hero block to the bottom. I have no idea where all the content is that shows regarding the Stax theme that appears published. In a previous communication by email you instructed me to review Gutenberg blocks, but the issue I’m having is more associated with your Stax theme. Without any documentation, it is very difficult at best and impossible at worst to figure this out. Please note, I’ve been using Organic Themes for over 9 years and was excited to hear based on your post that the Stax Theme is by far your best and easiest theme ever to use. I trust that may be true, but until you provide documentation to show how to get started, it appears by far the most difficult theme to figure out – sort of like walking blindfolded. Please provide some documentation ASAP to show how to get started. Thank you.
May 16, 2022 at 3:34 pm #441457David MorganKeymasterHi Jeffrey,
We sincerely apologize for the delay. We have completed the theme documentation here, https://organicthemes.com/document/stax-theme/
Additionally, there has been an update to the STAX theme that resolves some issues people were experiencing with the setup wizard. We recommend updating the theme to version 0.9.1.
Please let us know if you have any questions.
Thanks for bearing with us!
