Main Logo

Change Logo
Change Logo In Customizer Options
  1. Navigate to Appearance → Customize
  2. Click “Theme”, then click to upload a new image under “Logo”
  3. Follow on-screen instructions. Note: Logo will replace site title text

Setting up the Home Page Template

  1. Create a Page, preferably titled “Home.”
  2. Set the Home Page template within the Page Attributes module.
  3. Navigate to Settings  Reading within the Dashboard.
  4. Choose the option to display a static page for the Front page.
  5. Select your newly created “Home” page from the Front page drop down list.
  6. Click Save Changes.

Setting Up a Blog Page

Setting up a Blog Page is very similar to setting up a Home Page!

  1. Create a Page, preferably titled “Blog
  2. Navigate to Settings > Reading within the Dashboard
  3. You should already have the option to display a static page under “Front Page Displays”
  4. Select your newly created “Blog” page from the Posts page drop down list
  5. Save the changes

Homepage Featured Content Slider

  1. Add a Tag to the Posts you wish to display in the Slider, e.g. “featured.”
  2. Navigate to Appearance → Customize → Featured Content
  3. Enter the name of the Tage.g. “featured.”
  4. Click the blue Save button at the bottom.

Once a Tag name has been saved, posts having this tag will appear in the featured content slider. You can specify an image to be displayed with each post by setting a featured image. The suggested size for featured images is 980 pixels wide and 520 pixels high.

Middle Three Featured Pages

  1. Navigate to Appearance → Customize → Theme
  2. Choose the Page you would like displayed for “Middle content block – left”
  3. Choose the Page you would like displayed for “Middle content block – middle”
  4. Choose the Page you would like displayed for “Middle content block – right.”
  5. Click the blue Save button

A page must be set for all 3 content blocks before they will appear.

Bottom Left Latest Articles

Bottom Left Latest Articles

  1. Navigate to Appearance → Customize → Theme
  2. Find “Category for news”
  3. Choose the Category for the posts you would like displayed, e.g. “Latest Articles.”
  4. Click the blue Save button

The latest Posts with a Category assigned to the the category you choose (e.g. “Latest Articles”)  will display in the bottom left latest articles area, shown here in the screen shot on the right. As you publish more posts in that category, the latest three will always display in this section.

Bottom Right Tabbed Section

  1. Navigate to Appearance → Customize → Theme
  2. Find “Category for tabs”
  3. Choose the Category for the posts you would like displayed, e.g. “Tabs.”
  4. Click the blue Save button

The latest Posts with a Category assigned to the the category you choose (e.g. “Tabs”)  will display in the bottom left latest articles area, shown here in the screen shot on the right. As you publish more posts in that category, the latest three will always display in this section.

Three-Column Page Template

  • When creating a new page, choose the Three Column template in the Page Attributes module.
  • Be sure to add Widgets to both “Left Sidebar” and “Right Sidebar” under Appearance → Widgets.
