I’ve been working in e-commerce for 20+ years and I’m redoing a website for a client. I’m not at all familiar with wordpress (I’m talking, I’m brand freaking new to WP, even though I’m very familiar with other platforms), so this is probably a simple fix (fingers crossed). I’m trying to get the hero image to extend over the menu like how it is in the demo site. I can’t even figure out how to delete the title of the page (which is highly annoying). How do I get that image to extend and does anyone know how to delete the title from the pages??
A better question for this may be how do I start out with fully templated pages like in the theme demo? I read that it was possible to do that but from what I saw, I didn’t have the option to do that when I set up a new page.
Hi Donna, if you’re using one of our newer themes (STAX, Chrono, Artistry, Rialto, Natural), there’s an option you can access from the sidebar under Appearance —> Theme setup.
This will start a setup wizard to import the theme’s demo content, just like you would see in the demo.
