    Hello,

I’m running the latest version of Stax on two self-hosted WP installs. My WP version is 6.6.1 and my PHP version is 7.4.33. I have the latest versions of the following Organic plugins installed:

    Organic Blocks Bundle
    Organic Builder Widgets (not Pro)
    Organic Profile Block

I cannot get the follow four block/pattern types to work in Stax: portfolios, posts, sliders, testimonials (all of which depend on published content). I can insert the block and correctly set my post type and category for the content (yes, I have published content), but the block doesn’t display and “disappears” within the editor. I’ve also noted that when trying to add a portfolio or testimonials via patterns, I don’t get a preview for these four patterns (portfolios, posts, sliders, testimonials) as I would for any other pattern – see attached screenshots.

As the issue happens on BOTH my installations, I don’t think it’s my install (I’ve installed all sample content). What do I need to check? Do I need Organic Builder Widgets PRO installed? I don’t have that licensed.

    Thanks.

    Hi Jakob,

Thanks for reaching out and using STAX!

Did you install all the demo content within the Theme Setup Wizard? Those particular patterns are reliant on the posts, post types, and taxonomies within the demo content. If that content does not exist, the pattern previews won’t display. If you have not installed the demo content, you can still add the patterns, but you will need to select a post type and category for the block that contains published posts. Additionally, featured images must be applied to the posts you intend to display.

If you would like to provide your login information in a private reply, we can add the patterns to example page for you to reference.

    Thanks!

    Hello David,
I had completed a full install, but I suppose I unpublished or deleted too much of the demo content; I’ll re-install and report back. Thanks very much!
