Create Subpage Section On WordPress Page

The Organic Subpage widget displays a section of content from another page on any page.

For instance, you might want to display a portion of your “About” page on the Home page as an introduction, or perhaps a segment of your “Services” page.You can either select a portion of an existing page, or write new text within the section. After installing and activating the Organic Builder Widgets plugin, you can add a Subpage section by following these simple steps within the customizer:

  1. Apply the Organic Custom page template to the page you want to use.
  2. Update or Publish the page.
  3. Click the Customize Page button.
  4. Click the + Add A Widget button.
  5. Select the Organic Subpage widget.
  6. Then, you can either:
    • Add Title and text OR
    • Use Content From Page > Select Existing Page
  7. You have the option to add a background color, image, or video for the section within the Section Background Options: Choose  (Copy & Paste URL link)
  8. Click the Save & Publish button.

Create Profile Section On WordPress Page

A Profile Section allows you to display personal profiles with featured images and social media links.

The Organic Profile widget can be used to feature a single profile, or can showcase a collection of profiles. After installing and activating the free Organic Builder Widgets plugin, simply follow these steps within the customizer:

  1. Apply the Organic Custom page template to the page you want to use.
  2. Update or Publish the page.
  3. Click the Customize Page button.
  4. Click the + Add A Widget button. (Note: You’ll need to add a separate widget for each profile if adding more than one.)
  5. Select the Organic Profile widget.
  6. Add a person’s name within the Title field and subtext (personal bio or description).
  7. Add a Profile Image. (Note: When adding more than one profile to a section, remember to equally size all profile images first in a photo editing program, such as Photoshop, if you want all profiles to be the same size!)
  8. Copy & paste your social media account’s URL within Social Link to add social media icon links; you may add more links with the “+” button underneath.
  9. Add a Background Color if you wish.

Create Team Members Section On WordPress Page

The Organic Team Members widget allows you to display a collection of team member profiles from a selected post category.

Within the widget options you’ll be able to add a featured image, job title, and written content for each profile. After installing and activating the Organic Builder Widgets plugin, follow the instructions below and add each of the team members as individual posts:

  1. Add a new post within the customizer (Posts > Add New).
  2. Add the team member’s name within title field.
  3. Add a bio, or other personal information, within the content editor.
  4. Add the team member’s photo (Featured Image). Note: If you want your profiles to be consistent in size, remember to equally resize all your images within an image editing software, like Photoshop, first!
  5. Add a category name, like “Team” (+ Add New Category) and apply it to each team member post.
  6. Click the Publish button.
  7. Repeat steps 1 – 5 for each team member.

After creating each team member post and applying a category, follow these steps within the customizer:

  1. Apply the Organic Custom page template to the page you want to use.
  2. Update or Publish the page.
  3. Click the Customize Page button.
  4. Click the + Add A Widget button.
  5. Select the Organic Team Members widget.
  6. Give the section a Title & description (optional).
  7. Select the Team category, or category you applied in step 5 of the section above.
  8. Additional features are optional (background color, image, post number, post columns).

Create Testimonials Section On WordPress Page

A testimonials section displays a slideshow of testimonials (or any posts of your choosing) in a lovely and simple slide format.

Designed to highlight your glowing reviews, the Organic Testimonials widget allows you to select the number of testimonials displayed within each slide along with a featured photo. First, install the Organic Builder Widgets plugin. Next, follow these steps to add each testimonial as a separate post:

  1. Within the customizer, add a new post (Posts > Add New)
  2. Add a title (this is where a person’s name would go) and content (the body of the testimonial, or quote) within the content editor.
  3. Add a Featured Image for each post/testimonial (optional).
  4. Apply a category – existing or Add New Category (ie: “Testimonials”)
  5. Apply Organic Custom page template to page you want to use

After creating each “testimonial” post, follow these simple steps within the customizer to create a Testimonials section:

  1. Apply the Organic Custom page template to the page you want to use.
  2. Update or Publish the page.
  3. Click the Customize Page button.
  4. Click the + Add A Widget button.
  5. Add a Title and sub-content (optional).
  6. Select your Testimonial Category.
  7. Customize Max Number Of Posts and Posts Per Slide.
  8. Choose your Section Background Options (color or image).
  9. Click the Save & Publish button.

Create Featured Product Section On WordPress Page

The Organic Featured Product Widget displays a section that allows you to add an image, description, and button link for a product on a WordPress page.

After installing and activating the free Organic Builder Widgets plugin follow these instructions:

  1. Apply Organic Custom page template within selected page.
  2. Update or Publish the page.
  3. Click the Customize Page button.
  4. Click the + Add A Widget button.
  5. Select the Organic Featured Product widget.
  6. Give your product a title and description.
  7. To add a button link, give button a title (Featured Link Text) and Copy/Paste URL (Featured Link URL).
  8. Complete remaining fields as desired (Product Image Link URL, Content Alignment, Window Height Section, Background Image, etc.).
