I have the same issue, and had it before with 1.6.X. Did a manual update with the .zip to 1.7.2. and now it’s broken again for 1.7.3.

Hi, I’ve done the manual remove/update procedure to get tot 1.7.2. But now 1.7.3 is out and it’s failing to update again with the same error. The version is also not visible in downloads on the website (still 1.7.2). Can the auto update please be fixed?

Hi David, thanks for looking into this. Trying to follow your instructions, but as mentioned earlier the manual download for version 1.7.1 is not visible in my account, I only see 1.6.2. Where can I download the newer zip file?

In the meantime version 1.7.1 has been released, which also fails. I also don’t see it on this site under my account ‘Downloads’. The only version there is 1.6.2. Please assist.

Hi David,
The site is self-hosted, so not on wordpress.com. Updating via the wordpress built-in updater doesn’t work and I can’t find the zip file for 1.7 anywhere. Please advise.
