Site editor not working, cant save articles/pages

Hello, I have integrated the STAX template on a fresh WordPress installation and also installed and activated all the required plugins.

When I open the template editor (wp-admin/site-editor.php), it’s loading indefinitely (attached screenshot). Also when I want to customise a page or block and then save it, I get the following error message: “JSON Response is not a valid response”. I cant change anything at all..

What is the problem?

My WordPress version is 6.6.1

Hi Samuel,

Thanks for reaching out. This is an odd issue. Is it still occurring?

What is your hosting setup? Is this a local hosting environment, or is the site hosted online? If online, who is your provider?

Also, I would try deleting the theme and re-installing, and also testing to see if this issue occurs with a default WordPress theme.
