The Toggle Block is available within the Organic Blocks Bundle. It displays content within an expandable container that may be toggled open or close. Additionally, the block features several options for modifying the toggle style.

Getting Started

The Toggle Block is an excellent tool for creating FAQ and documentation pages. It’s a valuable asset for organizing any website content.

WordPress Toggle Block Example

To get started, add the block to any page or post using the WordPress block editor. Search “Organic” or “Toggle” within your list of available blocks. Once you’ve added the block, you may enter the toggle title directly within the editor. Then, the toggle content may be added below the title. Multiple block types may be added within the toggle container. Additionally, block options are available on the right to modify the toggle colors and style.

Toggle Block Options

Each instance of the block contains several options to change its appearance. Options can be accessed by clicking on the block within the editor. Then, you may modify the the toggle styles on the right. Additionally, the options are divided into categories, and a description of each option is provided below.

Please Note: You must click directly on the Toggle Block to modify its styles. Not the nested blocks inside the toggle container! Otherwise, you will not see the block options listed below.

Style Settings
  • Style Presets: Choose from a list of predefined styles for the block.
  • Toggle Border: Modify the border width and color for the block.
  • Toggle Shadow: Modify the shadow size, opacity, and color for the block.
Color Settings:
  • Icon Color: Change the color of the toggle icon.
  • Background: Change the background color of block.

Toggle Block Requirements

All WordPress blocks, including Organic Blocks, require WordPress 5+ and the Gutenberg editor. Additionally, the Organic Blocks Bundle requires that your server is using PHP 7+ in order to function properly. Please Note: These are standard requirements for running WordPress 5+ on any web server.
