By popular request we have created a theme based off the design of our original Organic Themes site, the Natural Theme! Buy it here, and check out the demo here. The Organic Natural Theme comes with 2 color variations, Earth and Ocean. The Earth variation is designed with brown earth tones, while Ocean has a cool blue color scheme. The Organic Natural Theme comes with a variety of features that make it an ideal candidate for multiple purposes. It can be used as a business site, informational blog, a portfolio and more. Like our other themes, the Organic Natural Theme was developed to be versatile and customizable. The theme can be made uniquely yours with only minor changes to our solid design and development foundation.

Organic Themes has fully integrated Gravity Forms styling within all of our WordPress themes. What does that mean? Well, if you purchase the totally awesome form management plugin from those great folks at Gravity Forms, any form created with the plugin will seamlessly match the style of your Organic Theme.
If you have ever dealt with setting up and styling any type of form, whether it’s a simple contact form or an elaborate file submission form, you know the difficulty and time involved. If the idea of setting up a form seems daunting, Gravity Forms will soothe those concerns.

While there is no such thing as an overnight success in the WordPress theme arena, we’re proud to say Organic Themes has come relatively close! It didn’t come without a ton of work and preparation. We invested more than a year of design, development and planning in to Organic Themes before opening the doors. We had high hopes, but only expected a small trickle of traffic within our first few months of opening. Nothing could have prepared us for the amount of traffic and positive responses we have received within our first month.
For a couple guys in Hawaii — we are extremely stoked! Organic Themes has exceeded our expectations.
As a result of this rapid growth we have realized the contact forms are not an ideal means of support. Which is why we are very excited to announce our new state-of-the-art support community! The forum should prove very helpful to our customers and theme developers. It will also give us more time to focus on the sweet stuff — new themes and updates. Access to the forum will be available for all who have purchased an Organic Theme. Register with the forum to receive access.

Organic Themes is excited to announce a new theme concept — the Block Theme! The theme is currently in the final design stages before moving to development. We are planning to release the theme next month and wanted to introduce a few teaser images in the meantime. It will be a tight, block style design with clean and modern aesthetics. The theme features a unique 3 column layout with featured articles of the desired category displayed in both the left sidebar and main content column. It will also feature a unique and stylish featured content slider that will be controlled within the Organic Theme options. The Block Theme will be created for the design conscious crowd, and appeal to wide variety of businesses within that demographic.

With the release of WordPress 2.9, the Post Thumbnail function was implemented in to the platform. It automatically re-sizes images for perfect placement within a site. In the past, this effect could be achieved by the use of custom fields and a script known as TimThumb. It was a decent workaround, but a cumbersome process, incompatible with some servers and a chunky bit of code that could potentially increase loading times. For people new to the WordPress platform, working with custom fields can be a confusing process. Even for the veterans it’s annoying trying to manage multiple custom field names. Post Thumbnail is the answer to all of these problems.
