Whoa!? Excellent Things are Afoot!

We have given Organic Themes an overhaul — creating a new design for the site and brand, adding new support forums, updating theme documentation and much more! Take a gander at all these changes for the new Organic Themes!

A New Design

The new site features a modern, flat aesthetic with a finely tuned responsive framework and retina optimization. Organic Themes will display beautifully on any device, and you may purchase themes and manage your account from any device as well. The design is minimal and easy on the eyes, making it easier to find the content you’re looking for.

New Support Forums

We’re bringing back support forums! While the ticket system had its advantages, it was lacking something — interactivity from the community and a valuable knowledge base. In the past, our forums served as a wealth of information giving customers the ability to seek feedback and share their theme customizations with others. We even hired our support team based on their contributions to the forums. We hope the new forums will spark this interaction once again.

We’re starting fresh. So don’t be alarmed if the forums appear sparse when you submit your first inquiry. Our old forums contained outdated information for old theme versions. We didn’t want any confusion arising from the outdated content.

The new forums are constructed using the bbPress plugin, and are fully integrated with our site and account system. Purchasing a theme will grant your access to the forums for a year or the length of your support subscription.

Updated Documentation

We have re-created all of our theme documentation with more helpful instructions and better organization. All theme documentation is available publicly on our site.

In addition, we have updated loads of other content on the site including our tutorials. We have also added new frequently asked questions. Searching our site for helpful resources is easier than ever!

Theme Setup Service

We are now offering an Organic Themes setup service! For a fee, we can install and setup WordPress and your Organic Theme — saving you potentially hours of work. You can learn more about this new service here.

The Fresh Blog

From henceforth, the Tumble Theme will hereby be known as the Fresh Blog! We changed the name for a couple reasons, but mostly to avoid confusion with “Tumblr Themes.”

In addition to changing the name, the theme has been entirely rebuilt to serve as the perfect blogging solution. We have removed the Options Framework plugin, and integrated all theme options into the WordPress theme customizer. We have improved the post formats, responsive framework, updated scripts, added shortcodes, retina optimized the theme, created a profile widget, perfected the design and much more. We’re confident you will be happy with the “fresh” changes.

Look at the demo to see what we’re talking about — just look at it!

Theme Retirement

For the first time ever we have retired themes — the Health and Beauty and Verbage themes. While they will still be available within the accounts of customers that have purchased them, we will no longer be maintaining or selling these themes on the site.

This was a difficult decision for us since our original intention was to always improve upon existing themes. However, there comes a point at which it’s no longer viable to maintain certain products. Not every theme can be a winner, and unfortunately these 2 were among our most outdated and least popular themes. We want our focus to remain on delivering fantastic new WordPress themes and maintaining our popular existing themes. Struggling to salvage a sinking ship is poor management of our time. So we say “Aloha” to the Health and Beauty and Verbage themes. No doubt you will be missed by some. We intend to deliver new themes catered towards these markets in the future.

That- That’s About It.

I think we’ve covered the big stuff. There’s much more in the pipeline, and we’re looking forward to your feedback regarding the changes. Much mahalo from Organic Themes!
